Team: Visit Flow, Signify Health Ireland
Location/Arrangement: Hybrid — 2 days per week in our Galway office (Bonham Quay)
Join a team at the heart of an R&D site for CVS Health, reimagining how care is delivered across the US. As a Software Full Stack Developer on the Visit Flow team, you'll work across the full stack — front end through back end — on modern systems that power every Signify Health visit and In-Home Evaluation, with AI as a core part of how you build: using AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and delivery, and exploring how AI can shape the products themselves. You'll get to prototype with the latest technologies, prove ideas out through proof-of-concepts, gather real feedback, and carry your work all the way into the hands of clinicians and customers — all alongside a team that enjoys working together and takes pride in a strong, collaborative culture.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week working from our Galway office.
About the Team
Visit Flow owns the Content Management System and supporting backend that form the backbone of every Signify Health visit and In-Home Evaluation. The team spans a new Web UI, backend, Progressive Web App, and shared libraries, built in close partnership with teams across Signify Health — giving content owners the ability to build and manage their own content and rules without developer involvement.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and ship high-quality code across front-end and back-end technologies, following modern engineering best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, UX engineers, and architects through planning, design, development, and testing
Partner with the Product team to refine developer-ready, testable user stories, and contribute estimates and input to work plans
Prototype new ideas through proof-of-concept, gather feedback, and drive the path from idea to production
Participate in peer reviews, support code releases, and troubleshoot technical and application issues
Monitor performance and capacity across code, infrastructure, data, and message processing
Safeguard the security and privacy of any protected health information encountered in your work
What You'll Bring
Must-have:
3 or more years of experience in software engineering working with a mix of front and back end technologies in a product oriented, cross functional engineering team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred but not required
Strong programming skills across front- and back-end technologies (e.g. .NET, Java, ASP.NET, C#, React, or ReactNative)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers, product, and cross-functional partners
Solid SQL skills
Experience with CI/CD and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Willingness and ability to work on-site 2 days per week at our Galway office
Enjoyment of using AI tools (e.g. for code generation, testing, documentation, reviews) to work smarter and free up time for higher-value activities
Nice-to-have:
Experience with containerization, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), or messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Exposure to caching (Redis, Couchbase) or document databases
Familiarity with TDD, Domain Driven Design, or Dependency Injection frameworks
