Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst III for our Epic Program department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst III, you will:
• Leads advanced analysis and enterprise workflow design; architects, configures, builds, tests, validates, optimizes, and maintains Epic functionality and integrated solutions across application and operational boundaries.
• Leads resolution of high-impact, ambiguous, or cross-application incidents and problems; directs root-cause analysis, coordinates technical and operational responders, develops durable corrective actions, and communicates through closure.
• Plans and leads large or highly complex application projects, upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives; establishes approach, scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, testing strategy, implementation readiness, and outcome measures.
• Serves as a senior liaison and subject matter expert for operational leaders, governance bodies, Epic representatives, end users, vendors, and technical and application teams; facilitates decisions and escalates issues through defined governance channels.
• Establishes and reinforces standards for application design, build, integrated testing, change control, documentation, release readiness, data validation, and production support; performs quality review of complex work.
• Mentors and develops analysts, coordinates shared work, provides technical direction, and leads knowledge transfer, training, and support-readiness activities without requiring formal supervisory authority.
• Evaluates emerging capabilities, regulatory and patient-safety requirements, operational performance, and user feedback to recommend enterprise improvements and sustainable Epic solutions.
• Provides leadership with concise status, risk, dependency, budget or resource, and milestone reporting; participates in go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, and major-event support outside normal business hours.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare, information systems, business, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Advanced education is preferred.
• 7-8 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, clinical information systems, application support, or related experience, including substantial experience leading complex implementations, upgrades, optimization, or production support in an integrated EHR environment. Epic experience is preferred.
• No formal supervisory experience required. Demonstrated experience leading large workstreams, directing cross-functional teams, and mentoring analysts is required.
• Epic certification in the assigned application(s) is required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by AHC and maintained thereafter. Current clinical licensure is preferred when relevant to the assigned application.
• Must be able to maintain required Epic credentials and participate in travel, on-call coverage, and extended-hour support for major projects and operational events as business needs require.
• Experience in Ambulatory care, Patient Portal, Population Health, Home care or Research preferred

Hours per Week: 40 hours/week
Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday

Pay Range:

$96,058.56 - $145,995.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:
