What would you do? • We are looking for an experienced in Fixed Assets Accounting involves tracking asset purchases, disposals, and transfers, computing monthly depreciation, reconciling subsidiary ledgers, and maintaining an accurate, audit-ready fixed asset register in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Ability to work in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment. • SAP experienced is preferrable• Problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure• Strong SLA adherence
What are we looking for? • Commerce,Finance,Accounting graduate• Experience in shared services or BPO environment• Strong accounting knowledge with expertise in Net Book Value (NBV) calculations and asset capitalization processes.• Good understanding of Asset Under Construction (AUC), Work-in-Progress (WIP), capitalization, depreciation, retirements, disposals, and the calculation of associated gains or losses.• Confident in managing client queries and providing accurate and timely resolutions.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Strong knowledge of Asset Life Cycle Management, including equipment capitalization, fixed asset register maintenance, and processing transfers, sales, and disposals.• Experienced in tracking capital expenditure costs, monitoring project budgets, and transferring completed projects from CIP,AUC to fixed assets.• Proficient in creating AUCs, executing settlement runs, and capitalizing assets based on business requirements.• Skilled in performing WBSE settlements on both individual and total assets.• Adept at monitoring Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP) balances to ensure timely capitalization.• Experience in CPI calculation and analysis of interest rates during month-end closing activities.• Strong understanding of depreciation accounting, including calculating and recording standard depreciation schedules and capitalized interest.• Capable of processing asset retirements, scrapping, and sales transactions while accurately calculating associated gains or losses.• Hands-on experience in posting asset-to-asset, intercompany (IC), and third-party transfer transactions.• Skilled in analyzing and recalculating Replacement Asset Value (RAV) for undervalued assets.• Experienced in reconciling fixed asset sub-ledgers with the general ledger on a monthly basis.• Proficient in maintaining roll-forward schedules and supporting year-end closing activities.• Strong adherence to compliance policies, Segregation of Duties (SOD) requirements, and audit trail standards.• Effective in tracking and resolving tickets within defined SLA,TAT timelines.• Committed to ensuring compliance with SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements
