Job Summary

The Compass Rose and Healthy Planet Epic Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Compass Rose and related Population Health solutions supporting Priority Health operations. This role partners with business stakeholders, operational leaders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Epic solutions that improve care management, population health, utilization management, risk adjustment, and member engagement workflows.

The analyst serves as a subject matter expert for Compass Rose functionality and is accountable for workflow analysis, solution design, Epic configuration, testing, implementation support, production issue resolution, and ongoing system optimization. The role requires collaboration across multiple business and technical teams while supporting large-scale transformation initiatives and operational readiness activities.

Essential Functions

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Compass Rose functionality, including care management, care coordination, risk adjustment, and population health programs.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into scalable workflow and system solutions.
  • Configure and optimize programs, assessments, care plans, tasks, registries, reporting tools, and operational workflows.
  • Conduct impact analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize operational and member impacts.
  • Support system integrations, data exchanges, and interoperability initiatives.
  • Develop and execute testing plans, including unit, integrated, regression, and user acceptance testing to support implementation and system upgrades.
  • Partner with operational, clinical, and technical teams to improve business processes and adoption of Epic functionality.
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, workflow diagrams, and knowledge articles.
  • Maintain compliance with Digital Services change management standards and processes.
  • Support go-live readiness, release management, change control, and ongoing production support activities.
  • Use reporting, registries, and analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities for workflow improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience planning, design, testing, implementation, support, analysis of programs and software, and or a participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation
  • Epic Compass Rose and/or Healthy Planet certification completed within 270 days of hire

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Epic Compass Rose and/or Healthy Planet certification held upon hire
  • Experience working in case management and/or support training
