Primarily responsible for managing company training initiatives by partnering with subject matter experts, line and executive management staff and corporate training leaders to identify training needs; develop and conduct training courses and capture training records using WorkDay. This position is a mix of instructor-led training (both remotely and on-site), developing professional-level training videos, assigning the correct content to applicable users, and developing/implementing the annual training plan.
Essential Functions:
Work with management and field to assess ongoing training needs, make training recommendations and develop training curriculums to fit those needs. Communicate annual training plans and budget for review and approval.
Develop and communicate strategic training plan, provide quarterly training updates to selected groups.
Design instructional material and training classes for subjects.
Deliver using various learning methodologies while aligning with and leveraging the corporate learning management system (LMS). Examples include webinars or other video training, instructor led programs, on-line, etc.
Evaluate training effectiveness.
Responsible for initiating new associate training in the company ensuring it reflects both company wide and position specific curriculum for operations and non-operations based positions as well as management and non-management.
Coordinate the Learning Management System (LMS) updates and/or perform administration directly – create sessions and events, assigning training, fielding LMS questions, tracking and reporting of specific training (i.e. Code of Ethics, Workplace Harassment, new hire curriculums, etc.) in WorkDay.
Travel when and where necessary to deliver training (minimum of 4-6 trips annually to provide advanced user training for seasoned employees)
Other duties as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?
Education and Experience:
Post secondary education equivalent to one year of Business Management or equivalent preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations
Greater than five years related working experience
2-4 years training experience. Delivering and developing training programs
Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications, and equipment is an asset
Skills:
Knowledge of adult learning theory and evaluation techniques including needs assessment; development and design of training materials.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication, listening, and presentation skills including the ability to effectively present and discuss information and respond to questions from employees and managers.
Experience working in a computerized office environment, proficient with the Google Docs suite of tools including Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs
Exceptional public speaking skills
Proficiency with Authoring Tools for audio, video, and screenshot editing (i.e. Camtasia, SnagIt, Audiate, or Adobe Audition) strongly desired
Strong presentation skills
