Job Description
The Brand Analytics Manager owns measurement across custom advertising campaigns: defining KPI frameworks, building shared tooling, and ensuring the business measures consistently rather than campaign by campaign. Brand Innovation Lab runs these campaigns for major brands across Amazon.
You'll work with Solutions Managers, Brand Strategists, Design Technologists, and Engineers, advising on measurement strategy and tagging before campaigns launch. You answer complex questions with data, using Amazon's first-party data alongside third-party measurement products. You are comfortable using SQL to query across large datasets. You scale your measurement solutions to work across the business.
Key job responsibilities
- Define measurement plans, KPIs, benchmarks, and full-funnel measurement that work across the business
- Build self-service tools (dashboards, automated reports) that reduce dependence on ad-hoc requests
- Document measurement methodologies for use across 11+ countries
- Work with Engineering to embed measurement best practices into existing systems
- Analyse campaign results and deliver findings and recommendations to creative and strategy teams
- Present findings to internal teams and, where relevant, to advertising clients
About the team
Brand Innovation Lab builds custom ad campaigns for brands on Amazon. The Brand Analytics & Measurement team is responsible for how those campaigns are measured.
You'd be the third Brand Analytics Manager, working alongside the Head of Analytics & Measurement and another Brand Analytics Manager The team owns measurement strategy, tooling, and driving adoption of both across the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of digital media or marketing strategy, data analysis, analytics & visualization experience
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau), or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)
- Experience using very large datasets
- 3+ years of database experience (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- 5+ years of consulting / advisory experience in advertising or retail

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
