Position Responsibilities:

Lead a team of manufacturing engineers who work closely with ODMs, CMs, and internal AWS hardware and software development teams to launch new hardware. Act as both a manager and a technical leader driving best practices across the team. Develop and maintain performance metrics to track ODM and CM quality, delivery, and operational effectiveness, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. Ensure the team optimizes manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements while identifying opportunities to reduce cost and cycle time. Serve as the primary escalation point for manufacturing issues, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) managing a manufacturing engineering team. Must also have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) working with external ODMs or CMs; (2) querying and analyzing data using SQL, data visualization tools, or AI/ML tools to drive manufacturing decisions; (3) applying root cause analysis methodologies, including Pareto analysis, to prioritize and resolve critical manufacturing issues; (4) electronics assembly processes and test processes, including the ability to influence ODM or CM process changes to improve quality and yield. Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
