Commercial Cards & Supplier Enablement Specialist - Senior

The opportunity

We are seeking a Commercial Cards & Supplier Enablement Specialist to join our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Málaga, helping to drive the growth of our Commercial Cards and Virtual Cards business.

This role is responsible for engaging suppliers, increasing card acceptance, managing onboarding and activation activities, and supporting long-term programme adoption. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to suppliers, buyers, and internal stakeholders, helping businesses transition from traditional payment methods to modern B2B payment solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a payments professional who combines strong relationship management skills with a passion for driving adoption and delivering commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize suppliers with strong Commercial Card and Virtual Card adoption potential.
• Lead supplier outreach and relationship management activities.
• Communicate the value proposition of Commercial Cards and Virtual Cards, including cash flow, working capital, and process-efficiency benefits.
• Manage supplier discussions and address objections related to card acceptance.
• Coordinate onboarding and activation activities with suppliers, buyers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support suppliers through implementation and go-live.
• Monitor supplier activation, adoption, and payment volume growth.
• Maintain pipeline visibility and performance reporting.
• Partner with product, sales, operations, and client teams to drive programme success.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong supplier, client, or merchant relationship management experience.
• Proven ability to manage commercial discussions and influence external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing onboarding, implementation, or adoption programmes.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on conversion, activation, and growth.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in economics/law/business administration/finance or similar 
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Cards, Banking Products, Virtual Cards, B2B Payments, Supplier Enablement, Accounts Payable Automation, Supply Chain Finance, Working Capital Solutions, or related fields.
• High level of English. Other languages are valuable.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience in:

• Commercial Cards and Virtual Cards programmes.
• Supplier Enablement or Supplier Onboarding.
• Merchant Acceptance and B2B Payments.
• Integrated Payables and AP Automation solutions.
• Working Capital and Supply Chain Finance products.
• Experience working with global banks, card networks, fintechs, or payment providers.
