Job Description

S&A’s mission is to be the bridge between value added short-term and long-term solutions with a vision to optimize, standardize, and automate reporting and tools for WW Ops Finance customers. This strategy revolves around automation of data into central systems by simplifying upstream connections, reducing dependencies on manual uploads, and bringing all the logic and calculations within the product ecosystem of S&A.

As Senior Product Manager-Technical in S&A you will be the lead strategist in defining the detailed product requirements, roadmap and product backlog for the minimum lovable product (MLP) and the north star vision for single or multiple module capabilities. Our project is an early stage project with a bold vision, highly visible charter and strategic significance. This comes with a lot of opportunities to develop/launch a new suite of technical product capabilities and also grow as a product leader, as well as ambiguity in ownership and direction in early days.

The ideal candidate is passionate about products, has strong product development and process design skills, as well as project management abilities. The candidate should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from creating business processes to driving product development. This role requires an individual who can balance feedback from internal teams and external stakeholders to create the best experience for both. A keen sense of ownership is a must. The right candidate is comfortable and experienced working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with rapid iteration, and data-driven decision-making.

Key job responsibilities
- Identifying new capabilities, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to get those features in the hands of our customers
- Working backwards from outcomes with the business to define and drive creative product features and capabilities that enhance and delight customers
- Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning and tactical execution
- Defining product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific market segments, and employees
- Translate product/business requirements into development specifications within the agile development process
- Establishing goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
- Delivering results by driving execution of programs spanning multiple teams from design to rollout.
- Translate key insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for product improvements
- Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary
- Write documentation and test plans demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills

About the team
S&A (Standardization & Automation) views technology as a true enabler for Finance as data will be available at various grains for analysis and planning. S&A believes that all planning should be automated and driven with business led inputs and automatic calculations to enable comparison of various scenarios. Finance should have the ability to service both the ad-hoc needs of the business (with the speed necessary for business execution) and drive step function changes with technology incorporated into financial processes.

We envision a future where financial planning is substantially HOTW requiring low to no human touch. Finance planners will come to PLANet (our finance planning system) once the planning cycle starts. All the inputs will already be loaded through Input Automation and through Inputs forecasting (based on predictive forecasting). Financial plans will be pre-computed under different scenarios based on past scenarios, historical actions, adjustments and latest inputs along with descriptive plan summaries and comparisons. We will scientifically recommend the best plan that attests and optimizes to the planners intent. Finally, we will build these capabilities in a highly modularized fashion, ensuring the upcoming GenAi based agentic workflow.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as QuickSight or building AI driven analytics tool
