About the Role

The Integrated Marketing Team is a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives across various platforms and media channels. From developing comprehensive marketing campaigns to creating engaging promotional content, the team works together to elevate the Disney brand and connect with audiences.

This Project & Event Production Intern role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and delivery of D23 Asia 2027. Working directly with the Senior Event Producer, the intern will provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support across multiple workstreams, with a strong focus on tracking deliverables, following up on agreed actions, maintaining project documentation and helping to keep the overall project on track.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Tracking

  • Maintain and update project trackers, milestone plans, action logs and key status documents.
  • Follow up with internal teams, agencies and partners on outstanding deliverables, actions and agreed next steps.
  • Consolidate workstream updates and help maintain a clear overall view of project progress.
  • Flag upcoming deadlines, outstanding decisions, dependencies and potential delays to the Senior Event Producer.

Meetings & Documentation

  • Support preparation of meeting agendas, presentation materials, reference documents and working files.
  • Capture clear meeting notes, decisions, action items, owners and deadlines.
  • Issue and track follow-ups after meetings to help ensure actions are progressed through to closure.
  • Maintain organised records of meeting notes, project plans, presentations and key documentation.

Event Production & Cross-functional Support

  • Support planning and coordination across event production, venue, programming, ticketing, talent logistics, guest experience and operations workstreams.
  • Coordinate information and deliverables across internal Disney teams, agencies, venue partners and other project stakeholders.
  • Support site visits, rehearsals, project readiness activities and other key project milestones.
  • Provide general production, research, presentation and administrative support as required, including onsite support where applicable.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available forfull-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2027
  • Must be available to work on-site throughout the full period of internship

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Events, Communications, Media, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Flexibility to support outside regular working hours when required, particularly during key project milestones and onsite event delivery.
  • Experience or strong interest in large-scale events, live entertainment, event production, project management or agency environments is a plus.
  • Interest or knowledge of The Walt Disney Company’s key brands – Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and meticulous, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities and deadlines concurrently.
  • Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to maintain trackers, action lists, timelines and project documentation accurately.
  • Proactive self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, following up with stakeholders and driving assigned actions through to completion.
  • Ability to identify outstanding information, dependencies, inconsistencies or potential gaps and raise them proactively.
  • Good judgement and ability to prioritise information, distinguish urgent or important matters, and know when issues should be escalated.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise discussions, decisions, actions and next steps effectively.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for collaborating across cross-functional teams, agencies and external partners.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining comfortable asking questions and seeking direction when required.
  • Comfortable supporting meeting preparation, briefing materials, project status updates and other documentation for senior stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented and able to remain calm and organised as project requirements and priorities evolve.
  • Able to handle project and stakeholder information with appropriate discretion and professionalism.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Keynote, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Multilingualism is a plus (Mandarin / Korean / Japanese).
