As the Coordinator, Awards, you will support the Walt Disney Studios Awards team and help strengthen the team’s overall functionality, efficiency, and productivity. You will coordinate awards-related timelines, assets, budgets, communications, events, and administrative activities across multiple studios and cross-functional partners. You will own detailed tracking and execution that helps the team meet awards marketing deadlines and deliver industry-facing activities. This role works closely with and reports to the Director of Awards.
Responsibilities
Manage awards project timelines, update key documents, and provide industry research.
Maintain the budget tracker and coordinate invoices and payments with Finance.
Keep the awards screener site current with content, creative, screening information, and guild group codes.
Distribute and track clips, credits, crew sheets, photos, and other assets for awards submissions and creative marketing needs.
Collaborate on nomination and win emails, the weekly newsletter, e-blasts, invitations, and other communications.
Provide on-site and travel support for events, exhibitions, receptions, press appearances, and awards ceremonies.
Coordinate the Director’s calendar and schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Onboard vendors and coordinate paperwork, payments, and invoices for service providers.
Manage awards media, creative, and clip needs while coordinating with internal and external partners to meet deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of publicity- or marketing-related professional experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization.
Working knowledge of the entertainment industry.
Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in awards, film, and television.
Experience supporting awards campaigns, entertainment events, or industry-facing communications.
Experience coordinating budgets, invoices, vendors, creative assets, or event logistics.
Experience supporting screenings, talent logistics, campaign execution, or awards submissions.
Interest in film, storytelling, filmmaking, and creative crafts such as animation, visual effects, cinematography, music, and production.
Experience with Photoshop, digital asset management, clip creation, or related creative tools.
Experience working with tracking systems, databases, or large organizational spreadsheets.
