Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to own the rhythm of business (RoB) for the WW Prime Benefits, Pricing, And Constructs Finance (BPCF) team. This role is the operational backbone of the team, responsible for ensuring that the financial scorecards, reporting packages, and planning documents that senior leadership relies on are accurate, timely, and insightful. You will own the end-to-end publication of the BPC Page 0 (our key financial scorecard by locale at country and consolidated WW level), prepare financial packages for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, support OP planning documents, and maintain the tracking systems that keep the team grounded in data. This is a high-visibility role: your outputs will be reviewed by Directors and VPs across Global Prime Finance and WW Prime leadership. You will work directly with a Senior Finance Manager and collaborate across a team of Finance Managers, each owning distinct sub-domains of the Prime BPC business.
Key job responsibilities
Reporting & Page 0 Ownership
- Own the end-to-end publication of the Benefits, Pricing & Constructs Page 0 at country and WW consolidated level on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence.
- Prepare and publish financial packages for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and Monthly Finance Reviews (MFR), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and narrative clarity.
- Support OP1/OP2 document preparation, including initiative sizing inputs and financial summaries.
- Maintain and improve reporting templates, data pipelines, and publication workflows to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
Planning & Goals Tracking
- Track and report incremental Prime member balance across geographies, identifying trends, variances, and risks to plan.
- Own goals tracking and reporting for the BPC Finance team, including progress against OP targets and key initiative milestones.
- Publish DSI (Daily Sales Intelligence) runs on a regular cadence, ensuring the team and stakeholders have current performance data.
- Proactively flag variances and emerging trends to the Senior Finance Manager, with root-cause hypotheses and proposed next steps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with country finance teams across 26 geographies to collect, validate, and consolidate data inputs for Page 0 and business reviews.
- Partner with Finance Managers on the BPC team to integrate sub-domain data (Benefits, Pricing, Constructs, Savings & Rewards) into consolidated reporting.
- Work with Business Intelligence Engineering (BIE) teams to improve data quality, automate data pipelines, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Serve as the primary BIE liaison for the BPC Finance team: own the relationship with BIE to drive data quality improvements, prioritize pipeline fixes, unblock data access requests, and reduce the manual reconciliation burden on senior Finance Managers.
Analytical & Insight Development (Growth Scope)
- Conduct variance analysis and root-cause deep-dives on Page 0 metrics, member balance trends, and benefit cost movements, escalating findings with hypotheses and recommended actions.
- Support ad hoc financial analyses for senior leadership, including opportunity sizing, benefit cost trending, and scenario modeling for business reviews.
- Build and maintain Benefits Usage Index (BUI) tracking and trend analysis to support WW Prime leadership decision-making.
- Develop familiarity with Prime subscription economics, pricing levers, and membership growth drivers to grow into broader analytical responsibilities over time.
BIE Partnership & Data Infrastructure
- Serve as the primary BIE liaison for the BPC Finance team: own the working relationship with BIE to drive data quality improvements, prioritize pipeline fixes, and unblock data access requests.
- Reduce the manual data reconciliation burden on senior Finance Managers by systematizing data validation checks and building repeatable QA processes for published outputs.
- Partner with BIE to identify automation opportunities for Page 0 and recurring reports, with the goal of progressively eliminating manual data assembly.
A day in the life
No two days look exactly the same, but here is what a typical week might include. On Monday, you review the latest Prime Member engagement data across key geographies, flag any variances from plan, and update the tracking dashboard your team relies on. By midweek, you are pulling together inputs from five Finance Managers across Benefits, Pricing, and Constructs to assemble the Page 0 scorecard: reconciling data, chasing down discrepancies with BIE, and making sure the numbers tell a clean story before your Senior Finance Manager reviews them. On Thursday, you publish the MBR financial package and prep the supporting materials, knowing they will be in front of Directors and VPs within days. In between, you field ad hoc data requests from senior leadership, run a DSI publication, and join a working session with your BIE counterpart to troubleshoot a data pipeline issue that has been causing manual workarounds for weeks.
This role sits at the intersection of precision and pace. You will own the outputs that the entire BPC Finance team depends on for credibility with senior leadership. Some weeks are predictable and rhythmic: Page 0 closes, MBR publishes, goals update on schedule. Others are not: a VP asks for a quick member growth cut by locale ahead of an unscheduled review, and you need to pull it together accurately within hours. If you enjoy building reliable systems, thrive on getting the details right, and want to grow into a broader finance analytics role on a team that operates at the center of Amazon Prime's global strategy, this is the role.
