Job Title: Procurement and Contracts Lead for a Data Center project:

Department: Project Management

Location: On-site, Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Contract Lead to join our team for a Data Center project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes and contract administration to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for the Data Center Project

• Prepare and review contract documents, including RFPs, RFQs, and tender packages
• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate terms and conditions
• Manage the bidding process and coordinate with various stakeholders
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement and contract-related activities
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to address procurement and contract issues
• Assist in resolving disputes and managing change orders
• Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
• Prepare regular reports on procurement and contract status for senior management

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil)

• Minimum of 8-10years of experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in Data Center
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and procurement management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Data Center projects
• Professional certification in procurement or contract management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
