Maersk H2S Safety Services is looking for a Sales Executive to lead the commercial function and growth journey in Brazil. In this role, you will take ownership of our commercial activities in Brazil, translating strategy into execution, strengthening customer relationships, and developing and converting new opportunities to expand our business. You will be instrumental in positioning our business in the market, creating value for our customers, and delivering revenue growth. We are looking for a commercially driven person with solid industry experience and strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. You are confident engaging with different stakeholders, skilled at establishing and developing relationships, and able to translate plans into tangible business results. 

Work location: Macaé or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Maersk H2S Safety Services is a global safety services company and an independent business unit within Maersk. We provide gas safety and HSE services, supporting customers operating in demanding and high-risk environments.

This role is part of the commercial side of our Brazilian business, working primarily with clients in the oil & gas and maritime sectors. You will join a professional team where safety comes first and expectations are clear. The focus is on leading the sales function, building strong customer relationships, selling our services, and growing our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the commercial management in Brazil

• Establishing and developing strong, long-term client relationships

• Developing new business opportunities within gas safety and HSE services

• Representing Maersk H2S Safety Services professionally in the market

• Driving sales performance and securing new clients and contracts

• Acting as main point of contact for clients and commercial contracts

• Working closely with Operations to ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery

We are looking for

You have experience from commercial roles, preferably within the oil & gas industry, and are comfortable dealing directly with customers and other stakeholders. Industry experience is more important to us than formal qualifications. We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, takes ownership, and is willing to take responsibility.

• Experience from commercial roles

• Background in safety services, oil & gas, maritime, or similar sectors

• Clear and confident stakeholder management and communication skills

• Structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach to your work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel (approximately 60 days per year)

• Fluent in Portuguese & English
