What you will be doing 

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role ofAuto-Flight System Engineer. 

1. During this programme, you will actively contribute to the design, integration, and validation of Auto-Flight Systems (AFS), ensuring our aircraft continue to meet the highest standards of safety and performance. 

2. To achieve this, you will master advanced methodologies and technologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), complex simulation environments, and flight control architectures. 

3. Beyond the technical expertise, your role will behighly collaborative. You will act as a vital link between various engineering teams, bridging technical design with strategic execution. 

4. By leveraging your strong interpersonal skills, you will learn to navigate a highly complex, international industrial matrix, fostering collaboration and creating alignment among diverse multicultural teams. 

5. Your development journey will feature rotational placements, carefully structured to give you a holistic view of the Autoflight system lifecycle and Airbus's business operations

6. Through this unique blend of technical immersion and international project management, you will gain deep knowledge of system lifecycles, safety regulations, and formal management frameworks.

At the end of the two-year development programme, you will have fully developed into the position of Auto-Flight System Engineer!
 

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • A degree level or equivalent within Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automation & Control, or a related discipline.

  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of aeronautics, complex systems engineering, or flight control systems, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to build bridges across an international industrial network.

  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) 

  • Basic verbal communication in our local language (French) would be appreciated.

  • The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
