The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
 

Responsibilities:

• For the managed accounts discretionary business, facilitate the resolution of queries, assist in activities relating to governance and oversight/ control functions (such as MCA reporting) and liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders spanning both ops and business partners to support key business initiatives
• Support Free-Of-Payment (FOP) transfer activities of Alternatives Investment products for Citi Private clients
• Manage marketing queries relating to FOP transfer while working closely with Product Managers and Fund Administrators
• Ensuring quality processing and adherence to Citi Policies and Controls
• Ensure that the day-to-day processing of orders is completed smoothly adhering to the cut off times
• Meet the Business expectation on operational matters and facilitate a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Must be detailed oriented to handle the large volume of daily transactions.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience preferred
• Fundamental understanding of Mutual Funds / Wealth Products & accounting
• Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities in a high-risk environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Good multitasker and able to juggle competing timelines/deliverables and prioritize as needed according to business needs

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance
