Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the consolidation and reporting of financial results and plans for Prime Video Advertising. This role brings together inputs from finance and business teams across the portfolio into a single, coherent view of performance, and produces the reporting and narratives that leadership relies on to track the business and make decisions. You will be the connective tissue across a complex, multi-team organization, ensuring results are accurate, consistent, and clearly communicated.

Key job responsibilities
- Consolidate revenue, supply, and expense inputs from finance and business teams across the portfolio into a single, reliable view of performance for planning cycles and ongoing reporting.
- Lead monthly and quarterly close reporting and variance analysis; clearly explain drivers of change versus plan, prior forecast, and prior year to senior leadership.
- Produce leadership-facing reporting packages, dashboards, and narratives that give timely visibility into performance across the business.
- Partner with individual finance and business teams to ensure inputs are complete, consistent, and reconciled, and to align on assumptions and definitions.
- Standardize metrics, reporting templates, and definitions across the organization to create a consistent source of truth.
- Support annual and long-range planning cycles by coordinating inputs, assembling the consolidated plan, and communicating results.
- Drive process improvement and automation across consolidation and reporting to increase accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
- Provide financial leadership and mentorship, raising the bar on reporting quality and analytical rigor across the team.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
