Reporting directly to the Head of ESU, the role is accountable for converting deal intent into measurable business outcomes—growth, margin expansion, capability build-out, and operational stability.
The incumbent will establish governance, define execution models, and drive coordinated cross-functional delivery from pre-sign diligence through post-close

Key Responsibilities
1. Acquisition Success Governance & Leadership
Establish a best-in-class Acquisition Success Office / COE for ESU, including governance frameworks, decision rights, and executive reporting cadence
Define the operating model for acquisition success, clarifying roles, responsibilities, and collaboration across ESU leadership, corporate functions, and acquired entities
Act as the principal advisor to the ESU Head and senior leadership on acquisition strategy execution, value realization trade-offs, and risk management

2. End-to-End Value Realization Planning & Execution
Translate deal rationale and investment theses into detailed value-realization roadmaps with milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
Orchestrate coordinated execution across functional value streams including: Financial and statutory alignment
Commercial and GTM alignment
Shared services and backend enablement
Delivery model and operating rhythm harmonization
Talent, leadership, and organization enablement
Technology, platforms, marketing, and procurement enablement
Ensure uninterrupted business performance, customer experience, and delivery continuity during the transition and scaling phases

3. Growth, Synergies & Business Impact
Partner with deal teams during diligence to validate value levers, execution complexity, and risks to realization
Develop and track value realization plans across revenue, cost, and margin levers with clear ownership and phasing

Define GTM priorities, rules of engagement, and joint operating norms to unlock cross-sell and expansion opportunities
Build account-level growth and cross-sell views, aligned to ESU’s industry and platform strategy
Identify, benchmark, and govern cost and productivity initiatives across delivery and SG&A functions
Design and operate KPI dashboards tracking performance against deal business cases

4. Executive Governance & Stakeholder Management
Design and lead executive-level governance including steering committees, leadership forums, and cadence reviews
Prepare board- and C-suite-ready updates on acquisition performance, value realization, risks, and strategic implications
Manage relationships with external advisors and partners supporting acquisition success efforts

5. Risk Management & Business Continuity
Proactively identify and mitigate risks such as customer attrition, talent loss, delivery disruption, or platform instability
Implement controls to protect revenue, client commitments, and brand reputation
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, audit, and statutory requirements

6. Change, Culture & Leadership Enablement
Partner with HR to lead organization design, leadership onboarding, talent retention, and compensation alignment
Drive structured change and communication strategies for employees, clients, and partners
Enable cultural alignment while preserving the strengths and entrepreneurial energy of acquired firms

7. Capability Building & Institutionalization
Build and mentor a high-caliber acquisition success team across program leadership and execution roles

Codify playbooks, frameworks, and lessons learned to build repeatable ESU capability
Embed acquisition success thinking into M&A strategy, diligence, and business planning

Qualifications:

Required

Strong expertise in acquisition success models, IMO-equivalent governance, value tracking, and executive program leadership
Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in business case ownership and performance tracking
Proven ability to influence senio r executives and Boards without direct authority

Preferred
IT services, technology consulting, or professional services background with exposure to global delivery models
Hands-on acquisition experience in the North America market

Salary Range: $186,935-$252,989 a year
