Material Handler I - 1st Shift - $22.10/hr - Florida, Weston 3365 Enterprise Avenue | Stryker Job

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, OT as needed.

What you will do

Under general supervision, responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts and supplies along with maintaining records of materials/inventory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:(Detailed Description)

• Supports production material requirement needs 
• Maintains records of received goods, alerting appropriate personnel to inspect unsatisfactory items when necessary 
• Will lift and move heavy items and may operate a forklift 
• May prepare goods for final shipment and/or production assembly 
• May examine, stock and/or distribute goods in inventory and/or in other areas 
• May enter information into the inventory management system 
• May train others in distribution related tasks and inventory control methods and practices 
• Assists in physical inventories 
• Performs periodic cycle counts on a pre-determined basis 
• Determine part disposition 
• Assists in inventory accuracy, control and reduction 
• Performs periodic cycle counts on a pre-determined basis 
• On-time completion of required training 

What you need
Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or Warehouse environment

  

 

$22.10/hr plus bonus potential and benefits.
