Job Summary**

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Intern to support the Health, Safety, and Environment department in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
* Support the HSE team in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
* Participate in safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
* Help maintain accurate HSE records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documents.
* Support the organization and delivery of HSE training sessions for employees.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of HSE communication materials.
* Assist in waste management and environmental compliance activities.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager.

Job Qualifications**

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Environmental, Chemical, or related field), Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of basic HSE principles and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented and organized.
* Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HSE-related role is a plus.
* Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is a plus.
