We are seeking a Landside Business and Development Lead to drive growth across strategic transportation corridors, customer segments, and priority markets. This role combines business development, commercial strategy, solution development, and stakeholder management to expand Maersk's landside and cross-border transportation portfolio.

What You Will Do

• Drive growth of Maersk's landside transportation and cross-border services across Central America and the Caribbean.

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities into revenue-generating accounts.

• Build and manage a healthy commercial pipeline aligned to budget and growth objectives.

• Develop go-to-market strategies for priority corridors, customer segments, and verticals.

• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to strengthen value propositions.

• Partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.

• Support the development and implementation of new transportation solutions and commercial initiatives.

• Lead customer engagement activities including prospecting, relationship management, business reviews, and commercial negotiations.

• Create business cases and commercial plans for regional and global stakeholders.

• Contribute to training and enablement initiatives across the commercial organization.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding, inland transportation, contract logistics, or cross-border transportation.

• Proven experience in business development, account management, commercial strategy, or solution development.

• Strong understanding of landside transportation networks and cross-border operations within Central America.

• Demonstrated ability to acquire new customers and grow existing business.

• Experience managing regional or multinational customer relationships.

• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.

• Advanced Excel skills required.

• Power BI experience preferred.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Professional English proficiency written and spoken. #LI-MP1
