Job Summary:**

Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern/Co-op to join our team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance within a dynamic automotive electronics environment. The successful candidate will support various quality initiatives, learn about industry standards, and contribute to maintaining our high product quality.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
* Participate in the analysis of quality data and identification of trends.
* Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure quality standards are met.
* Assist in preparing quality documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Learn and apply various quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, 8D, SPC).
* Conduct basic quality inspections and audits as required.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Job Qualifications:**

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Basic understanding of quality principles is a plus.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
