Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

A minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience is required with at least 3 years of Package Development experience.  Specific experience within the Consumer, OTC, or Pharmaceutical industry is must.  GMP experience is must. Experience in a highly regulated environment is preferred.  Demonstrated technical knowledge related to package materials, equipment, testing and package development is required.

Roles & Responsibilities

 

oExecute and Lead Packaging site transfer projects

oPlan and execute package engineering assignments concerned with large life cycle management initiatives.  

oEngage in the development of the material and structural aspects of packages, including Primary, Secondary & Tertiary materials to ultimately deliver a robust packaging system to the market.   

oDesign, Create & approve component specifications. Work closely with R&D for primary components design and product related changes.

oLead the package design development and assessment, Develop, write, gain cross-functional alignment, and route for approval package development documentation that captures the end-to-end project specific information. (Examples of documentation: Package Component Specifications, Package Development Assessment and Plan documents, Packaging Line Trial Protocols and Reports, Package Development Reports, etc.)

oLead packaging development projects.

oDetermine and coordinate physical testing to ensure product and package integrity for manufacturing through end users.  

oLead troubleshooting in the resolution of packaging related issues in manufacturing and the field.  

oExecute packaging projects in compliance with government and corporate guidelines. 

oExecute package line trials and package testing.

ocGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) working experience. cGMP documentation proficiency.

oCreating: Copy and graphics specification, Pallet patterns and  Finished Put-up specifications.

oSAP related tasks including Data Entry, Raw Material Code requests, Bill Of Material  Creation and revisions.

Co-ordination with Stakeholders to trace, monitor & package development process

In order to comply with U.S. laws and regulations applicable to this position, the person(s) hired must possess the ability to obtain US Security Clearance which requires that the person be a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., a “Green Card Holder”), or a Political Asylee or Refugee.

Salary Range: $100,000 -$115,000 year
