VoIP Senior Systems Architect - PETAH TIKVA (HOPE TOWN) | Ribbon Communications Job

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior VoIP System Architect to join our Defense Solutions System Engineering team, working on large-scale, complex and mission-critical communication systems. 

In this role, you will lead the design and integration of advanced VoIP solutions in highly secured environments, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle.
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead end-to-end technical ownership of projects, working directly with internal and external stakeholders 
• Design and integrate Ribbon VoIP solutions with customer environments and 3rd-party systems 
• Define system requirements based on customer needs and translate them into R&D deliverables 
• Oversee solution design, integration, acceptance testing (ATP), and deployment into customer networks 
• Support troubleshooting of complex, multidisciplinary systems together with Professional Services teams 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle 
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements 
• Stay up to date with Ribbon solutions to support future expansions and upsell opportunities 

Must Have Qualifications

• Israeli Citizen 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in VoIP System Architecture / Professional Services / Tier-3 Support 
• Strong understanding of SIP protocol and SBC functions 
• Hands-on experience debugging SIP in VoIP networks 
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Fluent in English & Hebrew (written and spoken) 
• Willingness to travel abroad (up to 4 times per year) 
• Ability and willingness to undergo a high-level security clearance process

Preferred Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 
• Experience with cloud-native environments 
• Existing Israeli MoD security clearance – a strong advantage Collaboratesecure,.
