About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.

The successful candidate will have strong payroll processing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

KeyResponsibilities

• Processend-to-endbi-weeklypayrollaccuratelyandontime.

• Review,validate,andreconcileemployeetimerecordsandpayrolldata.

• Calculateandprocessovertime,statutoryholidaypay,paidtimeoff,retroactiveadjustments,andotherpayrolltransactions.

• Receiveandprocesspayrollchanges,includingnewhires,terminations,andemployeeupdates.

• Investigateandresolvepayrolldiscrepancies.

• Respondtoemployeepayroll-relatedinquiriesinatimelyandprofessionalmanner.

• Maintainaccuratepayrollrecordsandsupportingdocumentation.

• Supportpayrollreconciliations,reporting,audits,andyear-endactivities.

• CollaboratewithHR,Operations,andFinancetoensurepayrollaccuracyandcompliance.

• Assistwithpayrollprocessimprovementsanddocumentation.

• Supportpayrolladministrationforemployeescoveredbycollectivebargainingagreements.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum3yearsofpayrollprocessingexperience.

• ExperienceusingADPpayrollsystems.

• Strongknowledgeofpayrollpracticesandemploymentstandardslegislation.

• AdvancedExcelskills.

• Strongattentiontodetailandaccuracy.

• Excellentorganizational,analytical,andproblem-solvingskills.

• Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.

• Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeetstrictpayrolldeadlines.

• Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam.

Preferred

• PCPdesignationorworkingtowardscertification.

• Experiencesupportingunionizedworkforcesorinterpretingcollectivebargainingagreements.

• Experiencewithpayrollreconciliationsandyear-endprocessing.

Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
