Role: Experienced Associate – Transfer Pricing

1. Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Transfer Pricing team. The ideal candidate should have a hands-on experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation, conducting benchmarking studies, completing transfer pricing returns and supporting with advisory and controversy projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and gain exposure to complex international tax issues.

2. Key responsibilities

1. Assist with the accurate filing of transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting related obligations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

2. Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports, including Master Files, Local Files, and review of Country-by-Country Reports in compliance with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
3. Conduct economic and functional analyses to support transfer pricing positions.
4. Perform benchmarking and comparability studies using databases and other research tools.
5. Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and strategies for clients.
6. Assist in managing transfer pricing audits and controversy matters.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and finance to ensure alignment on transfer pricing matters.
8. Keep abreast of changes in transfer pricing regulations, tax laws and industry best practices.
9. Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
10. Mentor graduate trainees and interns and support knowledge sharing within the team.

3. Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics or Law or a related field with a minimum of second class (upper division) or its equivalent.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in transfer pricing.
3. Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations.
4. Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

6. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
