Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the desired requirements. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous collaboration to deliver effective software solutions that align with organizational goals. The engineer acts as the main liaison for application-related activities, overseeing the entire lifecycle from conception to deployment while maintaining clear communication with team members and clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and workflows.
- Experience in designing and configuring ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation within ServiceNow environments.
- Knowledge of integration techniques and API usage for connecting ServiceNow with other systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
