LEARNING & WELLNESS ASSISTANT MANAGER
The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Learning & Wellness Assistant Manager. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the People & Culture team, the Learning & Wellness Assistant Manager works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Perform general Learning & Wellness and administrative duties, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Learning
Manages and facilitates (in collaboration with other presenters) Embark for all new employees, including administrative tasks (ie. tracking in Workday)
Manages the Annual Ethics and Safety Trainings related to the property, including annual OSHA trainings
Collaborates with LDM on scheduling (and collaboration with other presenters) all other core programs including Service Foundations, Introduction to Leadership Behaviors, NLO, GROW, and annual compliance requirements.
Supports LDM with new managers to the company; are given the knowledge and skills to successfully complete their 90-day probationary period through the New Leader Orientation program (NLO)
Assist with maintaining an effective Designated Trainer program
Responsible for an indirect reporting relationship with the Designated Trainers, ensuring their roles and responsibilities are supported, developed, and adhered to in standards achievement and improved guest satisfaction.
Assist with training new Designated Trainers (DT) when required and regularly coaches and develops Designated Trainers (DT) in their role and responsibilities
Assist LDM to manage an effective Standards Training program and ensures Standards Training Manuals are updated regularly and training checklists are turned in for new hires
Plans and co-facilitates training activities if/when training is part of the solution
Supports LDM ensuring new managers to the company are given the knowledge and skills to successfully complete their 90-day probationary period through the New Manager Orientation program
Assists LDM with scheduling and planning workshops for hotel management with writing their development plans, ensuring the content is focused on experience-based learning
Support general P&C initiatives as schedule allows – employee engagements, events, etc.
Wellness
Maintain confidentiality of information in the department including conversations, personal information and medical files.
Effectively communicate and treat all employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
Attending safety meetings and Lead With Care Meetings
Perform administrative skills such as typing, creating flyers, filing, copying, faxing and answering telephones according to Four Seasons standards.
Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining supplies and equipment, and tracking program participation. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to create a workable schedule as well as be able to adjust schedules on short notice as situations change.
Assist in organizing and executing wellness events such as Health Fairs, wellness educational talks, and coordinating with external vendors for biometrics and flu shots, inclusive of other Wellness Pop-Ups
A talent for motivating employees to explore and participate in a variety of wellness activities.
A sincere willingness to provide service to employees, and a high work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within the team. Any other duties as directed by the Wellness Manager that supports the interest of the department and/or business.

WHAT TO BRING & QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Experience in adult education or a similar environment;
Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality or other service environments;
Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems (60 wpm)
Strong Customer Service skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and 10-key by touch
