Introduction
IBM is seeking a Product-led Growth Program Director to bring our offerings to life through compelling digital trials, self-service onboarding, and product-led proof of value.

Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the PLG strategy for our industry-leading Software and Infrastructure products with a special focus on the product experience. You will collaborate cross-functionally with IBM Design, Product Teams to identify common components and exploit opportunities to improve our user journeys.
  • A successful candidate will have a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the global head of PLG.
  • Partner closely with Design to identify key PLG capabilities informed by market and user research.
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify and prioritize product experiences and enhancements that drive user adoption and expansion.
  • Identify repeatable patterns to drive adoption and usage through effective onboarding, user education, proof of value and feature promotion.
  • Monitor and measure released components on their contribution to growth, uncover friction, and refine strategies over time.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in product teams to ensure adoption and ongoing optimization.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience leading Product-Led Growth initiatives for SaaS technology companies
  • Proven growth mindset comfortable working in a cross-functional role with a highly distributed team.
  • Success in delivering essential elements of PLG, e.g. trials and offers, that lead to product growth.
  • Strong data-driven approach to iterate fast on all aspects of the customer journey from acquisition, to retention and expansion.
  • Proven ability to develop strategy and execute cross-functionally to deliver results.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral, across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to execute well on multiple projects at once.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading through influence and coaching new ways of working and thinking.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
  • 5-10 years of experience in software technology driving product strategy and digital self-service revenue growth.
  • BS in Business Administration, Product Marketing, Engineering or related field.
  • Product Management or Product Marketing background.
