As part of our team, you will help organisations deliver successful outcomes for some of New Zealand’s most interesting and complex organisations and government reforms. 

We are looking for highly motivated self-starters and strong team players who like to push themselves, who can think strategically but enjoy ‘rolling up their sleeves’ and working closely with clients to get the job done. Work with a team of people who are smart, driven and passionate about working together to solve tricky problems, to improve New Zealand for all.

• Collect information, solve problems, develop findings, and deliver concise, high-quality written materials, supported by teams of consultants
• Coach and mentor graduates and other junior consultants to help them develop core consulting skills, and to build satisfying careers at EY
• Manage key aspects of projects from proposal writing through to budget and timeframe management
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients across the EY network (in New Zealand and internationally)
• Act as a subject matter resource on one or more areas (depending on your experience, interests, and education). This could be an area of methodology, or a sector (e.g., Defence, Governance, Project Management/Delivery)

• Demonstrated experience in working on multiple projects or priorities in a collaborative and result-oriented way

• Demonstrated ability to present insights confidently and succinctly
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new ways of working quickly, driven by a curiosity to learn new things and develop new skills  
• Demonstrated experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver shared outcomes
• Advanced written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation communication ability
• Strong project and time management ability, particularly the ability to deliver high quality outputs in tight timeframes
