Introduction
At IBM, work is more than a job - it's a calling: To build. To design. To code. To consult. To think along with clients and sell. To make markets. To invent. To collaborate. Not just to do something better, but to attempt things you've never thought possible. Are you ready to lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world's most challenging problems? If so, lets talk.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Performance Engineer in IBM Power Systems Performance (PSP) team, you will be studying the characteristics of Modernized banking workloads deployed in Cloud and Kubernetes platforms like Redhat Openshift and analyze the performance of the workloads across the stack including Application layer, Cloud and container orchestration layers (Rehat Openshift), Operating systems (Linux and AIX) and Hardware (Processor, Memory and IO) characteristics. You will identify the bottlenecks within the stack and help improving the design of the stack for improved workload performance. You will be working with stakeholders from different layers of the stack to share the observations, recommendations, and influence in improving the design of Power systems stack.
