COMPLETE Infrastructure Specialist - Openshift

Your Role and Responsibilities

• You directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems.
• You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of OpenShift.
• You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
• Apply knowledge of RedHat OpenShift containerization technology to deliver highly available, scalable, and optimized business solutions.
• Install and Manage RedHat OpenShift Container Platform including RHOCP as a service on a major hypervisor or on-prem in VMWare or bare metal
• Utilize understanding of the inner workings of containerized environments and multitenancy technology to identify risks and propose mitigations
• Be proficient with the design of containerization-based technology architectures including the utilization of container engines, templates and management solutions that encompass monitoring, scheduling, storage management and rapid deployment.
• Assist clients to transform their business and solve complex problems by defining the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solution

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Red hat OpenShift 4.x Installation, Day 2 Post configuration and Operational Support.
• Understanding of Red Hat Virtualization (RHV4.x)
• Experience with Docker/container management
• Troubleshooting issues related to platform components and work with various team to solve the issue.
• Monitoring the performance of the cluster and implement the solutions to avoid bottleneck.
• Experience with Terraform (IaC) to setup/manage the platform and pipeline component.
• Experience with Logging, Metrics, Monitoring (EFK)
• Experience with platform observability and logging tools (i.e. Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, etc.)
• Public cloud infrastructure experience, ideally Azure/AWS/GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes management, backup and recovery, and deployment tools
• Experience with Source Code management (SCM) Tools (git), Configuration management experience with Ansible and experience with Terraform

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Expert level experience in designing/engineering/deploying virtual infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of security best practices in containerized environments
• Knowledge in networking technologies (routing/switching)
