As a SRE Engineer, you are part of a highly focused, self-managed Agile team who designs, develops & maintains a Continuous Build, Integration, Test and Monitoring pipeline to support the delivery of IBM Security solutions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- +3 - 5 years of experience in SRE, Cloud or DevOps role
- English Fluent (verbal and written)
- Hands-on experience with at least three programming languages, such as Golang, Python, Java, C++
- Knowledge of designing and implementing solutions based on microservices methodologies for Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous delivery and continuous integration practices
- Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible and/or Terraform
- Hands-on knowledge with Linux RedHat and/or Docker containerization
- Experience with Linux development toolchain (i.e. rpm, yum)
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Strong communication skills and able to convey ideas and opinions to others.
- Problem-solving attitude
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Instana or New Relic
- Working knowledge of Azure, Amazon Web Services, or
- IBM Cloud is an asset
- Experience in enterprise-related development and deployment (scalability, performance)
- Experience building applications on cloud infrastructure
- Experience working in an agile team, e.g., Kanban
