Job Summary:  The Real Estate Technology Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Estate Management and is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment, integration, and ongoing support of operational technology solutions within the Property & Asset Management Business Unit. The Real Estate Technology Manager is responsible for the overall operational technology competence of the Building Manager Teams.

This position requires close collaboration with real estate professionals, technology vendors, and end-users to ensure the seamless implementation, usage, and maintenance of various technology platforms and systems.

Responsibilities:

1.Technology Deployment: Lead and oversee the deployment of technology solutions within the Property & Asset Management Business Unit,
2.Integration Management: Coordinate technology vendors to ensure seamless integration of new technology platforms with existing systems, advising on integration methodologies, data configuration, data management and system functionalities based on best practice and client aspirations.
3.Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with real estate professionals, technology vendors, and end-users to understand and analyze business requirements, developing business cases and proposing enhancements to ensure that technology solutions continue to develop to meet and enhance user needs.
4.System Support: Ensure smooth operations of operational technology by providing ongoing support for end-users, escalating issues to stakeholders and coordinating vendor support as required.
5.Project Management: Develop and maintain project plans and timelines for technology initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and resource optimization.
6.Training and Documentation: Develop team training plans and materials, conduct training sessions and record keeping for operational building technology to promote user adoption of technology solutions. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
7.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to assess system performance, data accuracy, and security compliance, proactively identifying and addressing any issues.
8.Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, monitoring service levels, and managing escalations.
9.Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the business. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative technology solutions to enhance operations.
