Job Description:

You will be a part of Hitachi Energy Global IT Controlling Team and report functionally to P&A Controller.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial analysis and reports (actuals vs budget, forecast vs actuals), incl. data reconciliation and gap analysis

• Drive process improvements within the given area of responsibility

• Management of internal invoices, surety of invoice posting and on-time payment

• Support with preparation of monthly management reporting

• Drive and coordinate documentation related to consolidation initiative, including calculation of financial impacts

• Communication with functional representatives, close collaboration with procurement and accounts payable team

• Be part of a team which builds up a new controlling platform, support with the design, roll out activities and implementation of process improvements

Your Background:

• You are a university student (preferable 2-3 years of study, Finance or Economics)

• You know English on at least C1 level

• You have very good communication skills

• You have very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel

• You are independent, detail-oriented, well-structured, and responsible, with strong analytical skills

• Problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset

• Previous experience in a similar position is a plus

• Knowledge of SAP or similar class ERP systems is a plus

• Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
