OPEX Finance Business Partner fluent in German - EMEA, CH, Kanton Bern, Bern, CSL Behring

As OpEx Finance Business Partner, you are the Sparring Partner for the business, and you identify the key driver of the business.

You have a forward-looking view and provide trends and sensitivities.

Your role involves managing the relationship with the Business and developing business plans for budget, ad hoc analysis, trends, and reports to the Director of Site Finance and Head of BP.

This includes OpEx activities for certain E2E functions, responsibility for analysis, and review of OpEx budget/planning events.

You support and challenge the business, ensure financial compliance, perform cost center planning based on analysis received, review, and provide reporting commentary.

Furthermore, by liaising with the COE and placing requests and requirements for reporting and analysis, you will support successful business decision-making.

You will manage a Senior Analyst OpEx Finance BP and report to the Director Site Finance Head BP.

Role and responsibilities

• Identify critical business drivers, sensitivities, and trends and support decision-making with data and insights.
• Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required
• Support business planning by providing financial analysis and modeling.
• Receive, evaluate, and recommend any required action on performance reporting.
• Perform cost center planning based on analysis received on cost center reports and work with non-finance managers to drive the budgeting process.
• Review and calculate monthly work in progress/comment on variance analysis.
• Engage with COE to raise requests for reporting and analysis and provide additional commentary to support business decision-making.
• Support Site Finance BP Head with analysis and presentations

Background education and experience.

• Tertiary qualification in finance/business or bachelor’s in business administration
• 3-5 years’ experience in multinational company healthcare/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Past role as Business Partner Finance in an international environment with different levels of stakeholders.
• Controlling/accounting experience in multiple industries would also be preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities

• Digital and technology affinity
• SAP S4/BPC, MS Office package, and MS Power BI experience.
• Fluent in English and German
