Master Data Expert fluent in German - EMEA, CH, Kanton Bern, Bern, CSL Behring

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Master Data Expert to join our Master Data Operations team at CSL Behring. Reporting to the Lead Master Data Operations, you will be responsible for maintenance of Material Master, Bills of Materials, Operations and Resource data with SAP (S4HANA) system. You will be part of a high performing team proactive in engaging with multiple business stakeholders to collect business processes, and responsible for understanding the translation into accurate SAP master data. This is a full-time permanent role based in Bern. And you will be reporting to the Master Data Lead based in Bern.

Role and responsibilities:

• You are responsible for Material and Production Planning Master Data creation and maintenance, as well as process improvements and further development of master data.
• Expert role for the area of master data with corresponding authorization in the SAP module PP
• Create and Maintain Bill of Material/Recipes/Production Versions, Operations and Resources records from creation to obsolescence.
• Ensure all relevant GxP change controls, quality and compliance procedures are followed when making changes to master data
• Support Business regarding automation, improvements, and daily business
• You will collaborate in the global projects in the master data environment.
• Ownership of Material Master creation to obsolescence and governance of maintenance throughout the Material Master lifecycle.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in business or process management
• Additional technical skills/understanding
• Proven experience in a manufacturing cGMP environment (preferred, but not mandatory)
• 5+ Exposure to SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) or Materials Management (SAP MM) and/or SAP ERP
• Experience in SAP Master Data Management, maintenance, and governance or SAP MDG (preferred, but not mandatory)
• Fluent in German – this is mandatory to perform in the job (C1)
• Fluent in English (B2)
