Job Description:
Tasks, role & responsibilities:
Sizing of aircraft components, parts and assemblies (e.g. airframes, transmissions and rotors)
Structural analysis during design, definition, development and modification phases
Trade off analysis for different design solutions
Linear and nonlinear structure analysis with the Finite Element Method (FEM)
Analysis and evaluation of structural strength, stability, damage tolerance and fatigue
Providing technical documentation and presenting results to the team
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience in structural/dynamic analysis
Experience in FEM tools (preferably HyperWorks/Simcenter and Nastran/Samcef)
Standard stress methods knowledge
Metallic and composite materials knowledge
Proficiency in CAD is a plus
Programming skills will be an advantage
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good team spirit, autonomy, engaged
Very good command of English (B2 level or higher)
German or French will be an advantage
