Job Description:

Details of the Division and Team
Financial and Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting and analysis, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory, statutory and control frameworks. The team will cover:

  • Managing accounting and financial risk and providing advice and guidance on strategic initiatives (driven by internal policies and/or external regulation) and new products that impact the entities /processes /utilities with their remit

  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis

  • Developing innovative business solutions and providing strategic advice and guidance to support the execution of business strategy, mitigation of risks and achievement of the bank’s/regions’/Division’s objectives

Your key responsibilities

  • Timely, Accurate and Completeness of Financial and Regulatory Reporting to internal and external stakeholder including regulators, central banks,  auditors, rating agencies and clients. 

  • From Data Sourcing to report generation and stakeholder engagement including responding to queries,  interpretation of regulations.

  • FPnA and performance monitoring.  Prepare multi-year Strategic Plans for review & signoff by Business/Infrastructure,  provide challenges on financial performance against operating plan and forecast.

  • Change Program and innovation delivery.  Execute and deliver efficiency projects and improvement of risk & controls.

  • Audit Finding Management,  establish Risk & Control framework and implement regulatory remediations.

  • Capital Management & Capital Supply.   Regular capital reporting & monitoring across capital ratios /supply & demand,  perform capital analysis according to Basel 4 methodologies.

  • Assess regulatory risks and impact of individual transactions in terms of suitability, limit exposure to critical or harmful transactions.

  • Business Intelligence, MI & Reporting.   Provide strategic advice to business/infrastructure,  lead Value Creation initiatives,  Preparation EXCO, Franchise and country management reporting.

Your skills and experience

  • Able to perform front to back process mapping and implement continuous re-engineering improvements.

  • Good Chinese, Korean and English speaking and writing language skills is a plus

  • Technology,  Data and Innovation expertise is a plus

  • Strong sense of Risk and Controls
