General information:
Support completion of inspection activities efficiently and cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Inspection product and system and validate material to ensure that these follow prescribed technical specifications.

Your responsibilities:

• You will support Test Engineers with product and system testing, prepare standard test records and complete test documentation, follow work plans and cost estimate for work in one's area of responsibility and ensure quality timely implementation within targeted cost. You will support risk assessments to assure safe systems of work and appropriate actions, assist with customer or official contacts and communication pertaining to test assignments or meetings and use standard processes and tools.

• You will support the development and maintenance of quality standards, verify the processes to ensure their compliance with set standards, utilize Six Sigma and other statistical tools to improve process and product quality. You will target defects, rework, material rejects and customer complaints to lower COPQ and improve customer satisfaction, implement improvement actions to ensure NCR/CAR/PAR/CCRP/DAR will not reoccur and develop work practices to ensure all people knowledge and skills are fit for purpose.

• You will develop work procedures, practices to ensure they are fit for purpose, report and implement improvement actions for all COPQ for the department and support QMS, audit and document control and work effectively with all other QA/QC departments.

• You will attend regular QA/QC meetings to ensure all BU objectives are achieved, conduct process evaluation audits within your department to ensure that processes are defined and appropriately documented, and that they are fully deployed and effective in providing the expected results and conduct audits of the quality system in your department. You will ensure quality documentation is maintained and upgraded, train staff on all TQM procedures, ensure all products purchase comply with OH&S Standards, follow defined OHS policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure own safety and that of others in the workplace.

Your background:

• You hold bachelor or above degree in Health and Safety.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in transformer manufacturing industry or similar.

• Minimum 1 years of experience in quality inspection and control, preferably in the transformer industry.

• Sound knowledge of Environment, Quality and Safety.

• Strong ability to make change with solid proof and manage complex issues and work with cross-functional teams.

• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
