We’re looking for an experienced Content Strategist to join our team and lend a human touch to some of the most complicated corners. You will be at the forefront of groundbreaking initiatives and play a crucial role in the use of content strategy to drive business results. You’ll work on everything from awareness-content-building to AI content implementation, with the primary goal of driving our key messages to market, communicating information effectively and efficiently, and creating a positive experience for our users. 
 
Orchestration of content will be a huge part of the job. You will strike the right balance between creation and orchestration of content. You will spread the content between Top of the funnel, middle of the funnel and bottom of the funnel content. Our product marketing managers create a lot of content. You will guide them to create relevant content, provide structure and editing services for their content.  
 
You are a self-starter that requires little direction. Along with the energy, passion to win and resilience to work in a large start up, you will be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty analyzing data, testing, iterating and creating best- in- class content practices to move the needle in your market. 
 
As the content lead your core focus will be to optimize the customer experience across digital channels, delivering the right message and content, at the right time, on the right channel. As a core member of the marketing team, you’ll work closely with product, corporate, executive, digital and PR managers to develop new creative and content as well as with digital marketing analytics to understand what’s working, what’s not, providing breakthrough recommendations on how to turn data into assets that meet the needs of customer across their journey and drives then down the funnel. 
 
Suitable for a marketer with 7+ years of experience you should demonstrate prior ownership of Social, Web and Internal marketing or other communication channels.  
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has an established background in content marketing to take ownership of content development in a progressive environment. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive awareness content strategy across all of Digitate’s products and solutions.  
  • Be part of a team to shape and deploy a holistic digital content architecture (e.g. content strategy, content guidelines) along selected design & structural elements globally for website & social media content/assets, application notes & data sheets, brochures & briefs, videos & trainings. 
  • You’ll brief agencies to create content generation for B2B campaigns including the development of Thought leadership materials, campaign content for multiple personas blogs and support vertical marketing including; emails, white papers, web page development, business case video development, and publisher opportunities.
  • Work in a strong collaboration with our divisions, sales & marketing functions as well as central functions and bring to life a fitting and coordinated framework for Digitate’s digital content. 
  • Apply persona & journey thinking (from awareness to purchase & aftersales) where the individual content “pieces” support a consistent & holistic customer journey across channels
  • Ensure content is SEO optimized by working with relevant digital marketing teams 
  • Continu ously looking for ways to improve website, content and digital properties based on personas, customer insights and journey mapping. 
  • Work closely with the social team to ensure content is contextual relevant and meeting ‘moments of need’ for the customer. 
  • Represent the Marketing function as its content ambassador.  
  • Accountability for managing website content projects from ideation and development to execution and launch 
  • Create content release structure shape content release processes with clear gates and milestones 
  • Author and maintain content policies that govern AI behaviors of content generation (where applicable)  
  • Define KPIs, measure and optimize  based on user feedback, metrics, accessibility practices, and usability findings 
 
Basic Qualifications: 
  • 7 years of minimum related full-time experience in help or support content, user education content, technical writing, or content strategy 
  • BA/BS or equivalent in communication, linguistics, information sciences, or similar field 
  • Strong short form writing and copy-editing skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment, with the capacity to adapt to changing project needs 
  • Writing portfolio with support or user education content, direct or transactional emails, style guides, etc. 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong project management skills, including managing projects from start to finish, developing and working toward set deadlines, identifying project goals, and tracking progress 
  • Strong understanding of SEO and other digital marketing strategies  
  • Ideally 7+ years’ experience in a website and digital management role @ agency or client. PR/Communications experience would be an advantage. 
  • Experience working with cross functional and global teams 
  • Good understanding of current content marketing trends including the use of AI based tools
