The Ocean Fulfilment Lead is responsible for on-time delivery of customers’ goods through optimal planning and execution throughout the Asia to Latin America network. The candidate will bridge commercial pursuits with operational efficiency, thereby achieving best in class customer experience, process excellence and cost efficiency.

  • Learn the dynamics of Latin America trade and gather solid shipping operation knowledge by handling the day-to-day execution in an empowered set-up with accountability for delivering at times stretch targets.
  • Stakeholder management with exposure and interaction across Asia Pacific, Latin America and Headquarters in Denmark
  • Improve on critical skills such as execution/delivery management, process improvement, interpersonal communication, analytical skills and participating in decision making to optimize service results and drive customer outcomes.
  • Act as a change agent to drive innovation and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute vessel scheduling to meet customer promise and proforma reliability.
  • Monitor bookings and optimize vessel space by adjusting allocation between load ports, regions as well as ad hoc route adjustment.
  • Participate in creation and maintenance of contingency handbooks to facilitate daily decision-making process to manage vessel contingency and incident.
  • Liaise with Captains, port agents and authorities to manage vessel operations.
  • Engage with Ocean Network Product and Market team to review proforma and improve network stability and efficiency.
  • Work with Fleet Operation to drive fuel and environmental efficient vessel operations across the portfolio of the services.
  • Support execution of empty flow plan by coordinating with equipment flow manager.
  • Identify and drive behaviour cost saving opportunities.
  • Contribute with ideas to improve processes within the team and across departments.
