Summary/Overview

The Sustainability Data and Technology (SDT) Programme is a bank wide programme to deliver a strategic solution for Environmental, Social and Governance data across Deutsche Bank. The Programme is part of the Sustainability Strategy Key Deliverable.

As Vendor Governance Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental, Social and Governance Data Team.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Business and DB Legal to onboard, renew or offboard vendors as required.

  • Work as part of the vendor management team to negotiate contracts, liaise with vendor contacts and the find the best available vendors for Business requirements.

  • Effective relationship management of existing and new ESG related vendors.

  • Own and prioritize the creation and maintenance of an ESG Vendor Inventory.

  • Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, including cost effectiveness and timeliness of service delivery.

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in reviewing and understanding contracts.

  • Excellent vendor/stakeholder communication and relationship management.

  • Problem solving any issues that may arise with minimum impact to Business deliverables.

  • Attention to detail with great communication skills, verbal, listening and written.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and working under pressure and ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations

  • Strong interest in Environmental, Social and Governance / sustainability an advantage
