Role Description

An Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.
Engineers actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of components by applying the learning from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and championing a 'DevOps' mind-set.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals.
• Active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable.
• Work within an agile team with 2-5 other developers.
• Present your solution in our daily code walk throughs with the larger team when ready.
• Actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of code components by applying learning from others, monitoring and observation.
• Provide Technical Documentation of development work in our tool Confluence

Your skills and experience

• Salesforce Skills 3 to 5 years developing with any or all of the below:
• Apex, Visualforce programming
• Data Cloud or other Data Warehousing and mapping tools like Informatica Cloud
• Lightning Component Framework
• CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JSON
• Integration with SOAP and REST APIs
• JIRA, GiT, Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDE
