One of our premium clients own a portfolio of 35 industrial and logistics properties across Australia and is currently valued in excess of A$1 billion, comprising approximately 615,000 square metres of gross lettable area and over 90 tenancies.

What this job involves

We are looking for a Property Services Manager for a portfolio of 13 assets in VIC with management responsibilities over an additional 3 assets across SA and WA.

The major focus of your role will be to ensure optimum facilities management services are delivered efficiently & effectively. This role requires travel to numerous VIC industrial properties for tenant liaison and contractor supervision. Occasional travel interstate to SA and WA may be required.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage engineering and building contracts, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, building fabric and fire systems 
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Co-ordinate the effective and efficient management of all property services and other works
  • Conduct building inspections
  • Be involved in preparing annual property operations and capital works budgets
  • Support the Property Manager in tenant relations and lease management issues, including review and oversight of tenant alterations

You'll possess a strong understanding of base building facilities management. Ideally, you have experience within the industrial and logistics sector (however, consideration will also be given to those wishing to make a change from other sectors).
You enjoy taking the lead, are confident and able to work autonomously as well as in a team. You are resilient in the face of challenges and thrive on solution finding.
You’ll be a well organised individual with exceptional communications skills. You will be a passionate, service focused candidate with strongattention to detail, a willingness to continue to learn and develop, and to be proactive with an ability to manage several tasks at once. You will thrive on rapidly changing priorities and be prepared to work from our Melbourne head office, or remotely from site as required.
Systems knowledge is essential with the ability to provide effective and efficient facilitation of documentation, reports, data, and meeting minutes and with support in general required. 
This role requires travel to numerous Victorian industrial properties for tenant liaison and contractor supervision so you will need your own car and drivers licence.
