Technical/Functional Skills

- Broad technical expertise, specifically on data engineering (Hadoop/hive, spark/scala, kafka streaming), GCP with good exposure to Java, tensorflow, instrumentation/telemetry etc
- Experience migrating legacy applications to public cloud
- Experience leading and providing hands on mentoring/grooming teams on design, problem solving, root cause analysis, post mortems etc
- Experience leading business critical, data intensive applications
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Good foundation in scrum and dev/ops 


Roles & Responsibilities
Hands-on technical lead to support existing data platform and lead GCP migration efforts 
Identify and drive best practices for data platform
Provides technical architecture, design and direction to scrum teams
works with stakeholders in defining and resolving technical problems 
close collaboration with product, integrating applications & scrum teams
has keen eye for process efficiency, identify/implement automation opportunities
