The PV International FP&A team is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Seattle based group. The Finance Manager role will be an essential member of the team, with broad analytical and strategic responsibilities, including:

Key job responsibilities
• Manage all key planning mechanisms (in-year, annual, long range) for PV International business
• Publish clear and frequent reporting for senior PV leadership on P&L and performance tracking
• Monitor performance, track progress, and understand sources of variance vs latest operational plan
• Identify deep, actionable insights into the content preferences, behavior and needs of our customers, globally
• Partner with business and content finance teams to design both short and long-term strategy, including inventing new metrics to measure success
• Maintain a source of truth on the total International P&L, including identifying and delivering opportunities on central / allocated costs
• Proactively identify opportunities for trade-offs, and provide strategic guidance on the best use of remaining capital
• Author business-driving documents to leadership that surface key learnings and provide recommendations

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

Preferred Qualifications:

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
