Principal, Technical Program Manager, Device Software & Services - Toronto

Job Description

The Device Software and Services team is seeking to hire a Principal, Technical Program Manager, to lead and drive complex, cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives. The role requires a combination of technical leadership and hands-on execution to solve large-scale, high-impact problems. The successful candidate is a force multiplier and influence without authority effectively.

Key job responsibilities
* Evangelize vision and strategy, and drive customer focused, high impact roadmap delivery
* Lead multiple initiatives in various stages of development
* Make timely, data-driven decisions to prioritize and solve problems
* Build effective relationships up, down, and across organizations
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly orally and in written form to influence different audiences and levels within and across organizations

Basic Qualifications:

- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
