building next gen products in areas such as deals and incentives powered by AI.
Our products will revolutionize how our Advertisers consume and benefit using the right media mix that matches their objectives and empower Agencies, Partners and Sellers to engage with our Advertisers backed with insights and data operating at scale.
As a Sr SDE on the SE&I team at Amazon Ads, your day revolves around crafting delightful customer experiences through innovative products
focused on improving a customer’s brand presence, advertising reach and personalization. You will leverage generative AI and machine learning to
revolutionize how customers benefit from Advertising solutions. Your day will involve leading the development of cutting-edge models and products that seamlessly integrate with other Ads products in serving up the right deals and incentives for our customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional
teams, including data and applied scientists, and drive technical decisions while mentoring and inspiring the broader engineering community. With your deep expertise in cloud architectures and distributed systems, you'll ensure
these AI-driven solutions are scalable, reliable, and responsible, while continuously innovating to deliver delightful customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
