What this job involves:

The Workplace Ambassador plays a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging workplace environment for employees and visitors. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, fostering community and collaboration, and supporting various workplace initiatives. The Workplace Ambassador serves as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact, ensuring that the workplace operates smoothly and meets the needs of occupants and stakeholders.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, responding to inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the reception area, including greeting visitors, managing access control, and coordinating visitor registration. Answer phone calls, transfer calls, and take messages as needed.

  • Workplace Support: Assist employees with workplace-related needs, such as room bookings, equipment requests, and IT support coordination. Act as a resource for workplace policies, procedures, and resources.

  • Event Coordination: Assist in the coordination and execution of workplace events, meetings, and activities, including room setup, catering coordination, and audiovisual setup.

  • Workplace Amenities: Maintain and manage workplace amenities, such as break rooms, lounges, wellness rooms, and collaborative spaces. Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality of these spaces.

  • Workplace Communication: Disseminate workplace-related announcements, information, and updates to employees through various communication channels, including email, newsletters, and digital signage.

  • Workplace Health and Safety: Promote and uphold workplace health and safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of equipment, adherence to emergency procedures, and reporting of incidents or hazards.

  • Community Building: Foster a sense of community and engagement within the workplace by organizing social and team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.

  • Workplace Policies and Procedures: Educate employees on workplace policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with workplace rules, regulations, and standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, service enhancement, and cost savings within the workplace. Provide feedback and suggestions for optimizing the workplace experience.

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in customer service, business, or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a corporate or commercial real estate environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively with diverse individuals, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to navigate workplace technology tools, equipment, and software.

Preferred:

  • Professional and approachable demeanor, with the ability to represent the workplace effectively and positively.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands and work schedules, including occasional weekends or evenings for special events or support needs.

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security protocols applicable to the workplace.

  • Basic knowledge of office equipment, operations, and administrative tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address and resolve workplace-related issues.

  • Passion for fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement and morale.

Estimated total compensation ran for this position is:

12,823.00 – 64,115.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
